A second chance of membership withdrawal was provided upto 15-04-2014. It was mandatory for all the members to exercise this option by opting YES or NO to withdrawal. However, some members still  have not exercised their option of saying YES or NO till date. In view of non-responsivness by these members, despite of repeated follow-up through message board/SMS/Telophone/PA System, it is being persumed that they are willing to continue their membership and accordingly,Withdrawal option from membership has been closed w.e.f. 16-04-2014.

However, for sake of identification, the membership of those members, who didn't  submit their option till 15-04-2014, has been termed as DORMANT. Now those members will be requested to submit  form for activation of membership to become an active member, after member login, otherwise, their membership status shall remain as DORMANT, till the time they activate their membership themselves. 

The membership of all those members, who have opted for withdrawal of their membership of NEHWO as on 15-04-2014,  has been blocked w.e.f. 16-04-2014 (Except Kolkata Applicants). And their membership fee shall be returned to them within the month of April, 2014.

All those members of Kolkata project who had deposited Advance Application Money(AAM) shall be allowed to login at the website of NEHWO even after withdrawal from membership, till the time their AAM is returned. NEHWO is making all efforts with NTPC to refund the AAM to all the remaining applicants of Kolkata project within the month of April, 2014.

However, about 1500 members have not exercised their option of saying YES or NO till date. Now these members will be required to submit either withdrawal or continuation form separatly to activate their membership.

In view of non-commitment from more than 2600 members, option of “Withdrawal” or “Continuance” from membership is extended till 31st March’2014.

Only those members, who will specifically say NO to this option of withdrawal, shall be treated as ACTIVE members of NEHWO. Accordingly, future strategy for NEHWO shall be explored based upon the strength of only those active members who will specifically say NO to the membership withdrawal option.

Therefore, members are again requested to exercise their option of saying either YES or NO to withdrawal from membership upto 31st March’2014.

Further, members are also requested to inform their collogues/friends to exercise this option, if their name appears in the list.

The Second chance for  membership withdrawal is available till 02.03.2014 to all the remaning members, except those who have accepted allotment in any of the projects offered through NEHWO.

For the purpose of online refund of membership fee, the account details of respective members have been collected from ERP record and the same has been reflected in the Second Membership Withdrawal Form , which need to be re-confirmed by the members.

However, if any member wishes to take refund to any other account, then he/she will be required to furnish bank details in the form itself.  The account should be  in the name of member only.

If any member feels that he/she has been wrongly denied withdrawal, then he/she may contact NEHWO team or submit request through Feedback for allowing withdrawal of his/her membership latest till 02.03.2014.  Membership Fee of Rs. 5000/- shall be returned without any interest.

Kolkata Project Status:- The amount paid towords land cost to WBHIDCO is yet to be received either from NTPC or WBHIDCO. The refund along with interest will be processed once the amount is recevied from NTPC/WBHIDCO. Members are requested to please wait for some more time for refund of Advance Application Money(AAM).

Members are further advised to exercise their option of withdrawal through Internet and not through NTPC Intranet.

The list of applicant: Who have deposited Commitment Money for various projects & payments reconciled, has been uploaded.

The applicants of those projects, where responses is less than 5, may shift to another project or may take allotment at the same project. It is clarified that where less than 5 allotess will be there, NEHWO will not be involved in allotment.

The applicants had been requested by e-mail to submit their choice of specific flat numbers. So that allotment process may be concluded.

The detail of applicants is also being forwarded by seprate e-mail to the respective developers & the same mail is also being forworded to the concerned applicants.  The applicant members may also contact the concern developers directly for allotment of a unit of their choice.

At MKHS Rain Forest, some approvals are still awaited. Hence the developer has been asked to fulfill all requirements before allotment is taken at this project. Hence applicants at this project are requested to wait till the time all approvals are obtained by the respective developer. Once all approvals are obtained this projects may again be offerd to members for seeking allotment and allotment will also obtained accordingly after that.

On member's demand, the last date for deposit of commitment money has been extended till 25.11.2013  upto 5:30 pm.

Important:-> Members are further informed that this will be the final opportunity for them, to obtain allotment at any private developer's project thru' NEHWO.

No further initiatives shall be taken by NEHWO, to acquire built-up units from private developers, at any location in future.

Total 70 offers were received from prospective developers against the advertisement placed in the newspapers on 09.08.2013.

NEHWO Team alongwith our Member’s Representatives (MRs) visited almost all the sites and after the discussions with the developers, total 48 offers have been shortlisted for offering to the members.

The members are required to deposit the Commitment Money of Rs. 5000/- and indicate their preference of location, project and type of unit.

Maximum 5 choices can be given by the member in order of preferance. Please refer Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to know further details about the Commitment Money.

This process will help in consolidating the actual requirement of units which can further strengthen MR's for making a final attempt on negotiating the cost of proposed units.

The matter regarding allotment of land at Kolkata was being pursued vigorously with WBHIDCO. Moreover, now WBHIDCO has refused to allot this land parcel in the name of NEHWO.

WBHIDCO is willing to allot this land in the name of NTPC Ltd. This matter was discussed during 10th Governing Council Meeting of NEHWO, held on 07.10.2013.

The following three options were debated:-

Option I: The possession of land may be taken by NTPC Ltd. without paying the land cost to NEHWO/WBHIDCO and a suitable internal arrangement may be worked out between NTPC and NEHWO to transfer the land/development rights to NEHWO for its development and allotment to NEHWO members.

Option II: 2 Acre of Land parcel should be taken by NTPC Ltd. for its own use after reimbursing the expenditure incurred by NEHWO till date. (viz. land cost with interest, Architect’s Fee, legal opinion charges etc.)

Option III: In case neither of the two options is feasible for NTPC, then NEHWO will be left with the only option to seek refund of the land cost with interest from WBHIDCO.

It was unanimously decided to go for Option II and request NTPC for taking the allotment of this land parcel at its own name, after paying the land cost alongwith interest to NEHWO.

The matter is under consideration with NTPC. If due to any reason, NTPC expresses its inability to take this land parcel, then NEHWO shall be seeking refund of the land cost from WBHIDCO alongwith interest.

Accordingly, Advance Application Money (AAM) deposited by the members shall be returned to them, upon receipt of land cost either form NTPC or WBHIDCO alongwith interest as early as possible.

In view of above development, it has been decided to temporarily stop refund of AAM till the time the amount paid to WBHIDCO towards land cost is realized either from NTPC or WBHIDCO.

We have received the letter dtd. 17.10.2013 from Amrapali Group informing the current status of Dream Valley Project, which is self-explanatory.

Amrapali Group has also sent a letter dtd. 17.10.2013 expressing their inability, to allot units at the Bhubaneshwar project. Accordingly, they have agreed to return the booking amount paid by our members alongwith 10 % p.a. interest, which will be paid by them, directly to the applicants within 15 days.

List of allottees of KHB Diamond & KHB Platinum at Bangalore is attached for reference to our members. All 14 applicants from NEHWO have allotted units at these project.

The offers received from private developers is under evaluation and the evaluation process is likely to be completed by 31.10.2013.

Commitment Money of Rs. 5000/- shall be collected from the interested members during the month of Nov., 2013 and the allotment process is expected to be completed by 30.11.2013.

The matter of membership withdrawal was discussed in detail, considering the outcome of membership withdrawal survey, during 9th Governing Council Meeting on 11.04.2013. It was decided to provide ONE TIME opportunity to the members for withdrawing their membership fee, after getting their membership terminated subject to the following terms and conditions: -

1) Membership Fee of Rs. 5000/- shall be returned without interest.

2) The membership shall be terminated and the member shall loose his/her eligibility for allotment of any unit at any of the projects, already undertaken / to be undertaken, by NEHWO.

3) The members withdrawing from membership at this stage, shall not be allowed to obtain membership again, in future.

4) Those members, who have been allotted any unit through NEHWO and have accepted the allotment, shall not be allowed to withdraw their membership.

5) Those members, who have submitted application for KHB-Banglore, thru' NEHWO, shall not be allowed to withdraw their membership.

6) Those members, who have deposited Advance Application Money (AAM) / Commitment Money (CM) for Kolkata or CHB Raipur project, may also be allowed to withdraw their membership, provided they also withdraw their AAM / CM from the respective project.

7) NEHWO shall remain functional and continue to work for the remaining members.

8) Sincere efforts should be made to acquire Land/Built-up units, where the requirement of sufficient no. of units will remain, among the remaining members (i.e. those members who will not withdraw their membership).

9) Fresh membership may be opened from time to time giving opportunity to ETs joining NTPC & employee who have not opted for membership earlier.

Accordingly, it has been decided to obtain a firm request from the members for withdrawal of membership. The option to membership withdrawal shall remain open till 30.04.2013, up to 5:30 PM

KOLKATA PROJECT: The issue regarding allotment of land by WBHIDCO, Kolkata to NEHWO has been discussed during their board meeting on 28.03.2013.A positive outcome from WBHIDCO is expected shortly. The draw for allotments of units at Kolkata project shall be held, once the final confirmation from WBHIDCO is received.

A number of complaints have been received about loss of password / non-receipt of password thru’ e-mail. To provide an easy login to the members, the password of all those members, who, have not participated in the membership withdrawal survey, has been reset to default password (i.e. date of birth in ddmmyyyy format.) The members should be able to login either through date of birth or saved password.

Upon login thru' date of birth as password, member will required to change the password immediately after login.

The last date for depositing Booking Amount (10%) for AMP-Bhubaneshwar has been extended by Amrapali Group till 05.04.2013. All the allotees are requested to deposit the requisite amount latest till 05.04.2013.

Considering the request of refund of membership fee by some of the members, the matter was discussed in detail, during the 8th Governing Council Meeting, held on 29/03/2013 at Scope Complex, and it was decided to provide one time opportunity to the members for withdrawing their membership.

The list of applicants for Amp-Bhubaneshwar Project has been uploaded for reference to our members. Only 28 members have applied for Amp-Bhuwaneshwar Project till date. Accordingly, the last date for deposting commitment money has also been extended till 19.03.2013. Any member intrested at this project may submit application along with committment money till 19.03.2013.

Due to less response from members, it is not becoming feasible for NEHWO team to mobilize  at Bhuwaneshwer for conducting the draw. Accordingly, the draw for allotment shall be held at NEHWO office, Noida on 20.03.2013 at 2:30 PM, in the presence applicants & Amrapali group's representative.

The list of allottees shall be published on this website on the same day. The allottees wiil be required to deposit aplication form along with 10% Unit Cost, in the office of Amrapali group latest till 31.03.2013.

It is further informed to our members that HBA may not be sanctioned by NTPC at this project. However, home loan from banks will be easly available.

Amprapali Group has sent a Letter dated 04.03.2013 regarding Bhubaneswar Project, which is self explanatory. They have agreed to offer 112 units to our members in exclusive Towers (A&B) at the same rates, terms and conditions, which was agreed earlier.

The cost of units has been derived based upon average Rs. 3300 /sqft. on Built –up Area Basis (NEHWO Norms), which works out to an average rate of Rs.2942 / sqft. + cost of one covered car parking (Rs. 3 Lakhs) on Super Area basis.

Since the area of units has changed, It has been thought appropriate to allow members, who had deposited commitment money earlier, to modify their choices for this project again, selecting the unit area clearly online.

Since the number of offered units is more than the number of applicants, It has been decided to invite fresh commitment money from those members, who are interested at Bhubaneswar Project and had not deposited commitment money earlier.

NTPC HR-CC Scope is yet to approve Amrapali Dream Valley project for HBA. Since the approval of HBA, now require amendment/relaxation in HR-Policy, it may take further time.

The approval of drawings for Amp–Bhubaneswar is still awaited by Amrapali Group.

The issue of handing over possession of Kolkata land, is under consideration by WBHIDCO and a positive outcome is awaited by this month end.

The last date for depositing commitment money against KHB schemes has been extended till 14.01.2013

We have received only 16 Application for KHB projects, till date. The application money shall be deposited with KHB, next week.

It may be observed from the communication that there are no legal issues at this project, however, some more documents are still required from Amrapali group, which they were asked to provide on urgent basis.

The following are the two major points:-

Since, NTPC Legal Deptt, also require approval of drawings above 20th floor in hand, hence approval of HBA may take some more time. (As Amrapali group has asked 4 months time to obtain approval for higher floors)

The lease related points raised by Legal deptt, is a general issue, in all Noida projects. Builders are obtaining part completion/lease for the completed portion of the project and thereafter handing over possession to the respective allottees.

Upon the request of NEHWO, Amrapali Group had extended the date of payment of FIRST installment (i.e.30% of unit cost) from 30.11.2012 to 25.12.2012, but still many of the members have not deposited the FIRST installment due to various reasons.

Hence, Amrapali group has again been requested to grant extension of time upto 05.01.2013, for which they have agreed.

However, they have conveyed us that it will not be possible for Amrapali Group, to extend the date further and accordingly, the allotment (ANNEXURE-I) of only those members, who will deposit the 40% of the unit cost on or before 05.01.2013, shall be confirmed

Hence members are suggested, to pay the due amount either thru' bank finance or their own sources.

It is pertinent to mention here that, based upon the documents provided by Amrapali Group, the following four nationalised banks are disbursing loans for Dream valley project.

1. State Bank of Hyderabad (@ 10.25%)

2. Bank of Maharashtra (@ 10.50%)

3. United Bank of India (@ 10.45%)

4. Corporation bank (@ 10.50%)

Upon the request of NEHWO, Amrapali Group had extended the date of payment of booking amount (i.e.10% of unit cost) from 27.12.2012 to 30.12.2012. All allottees, who were allotted flats on 20.12.2012, are suggested to complete booking formalities with Amrapali group on or before 30.12.2012.

It is clarified here that NEHWO will not be in a position to obtain further time extension from Amrapali group for Dream Valley or Silicon city.

The list of 123 Members, whose full commitment money of Rs.50000/- is refundable, has been uploaded for reference to our members. Their commitment money, shall be transferred to their respective accounts by 31.12.2012.

The commitment money of Annexure-II, allottees of Dream Valley and remaining members, whose accounts details are available with NEHWO, shall be returned to them next week.

The commitment money of Silicon City allottees shall be returned to them or paid to the developer, in the 2nd week of January.

The following clarifications were provided by KHB during the meeting held on 17.12.2012.

a) NTPC should submit its requirements of units alongwith Advance deposit & registration money during first week of January ‘2013.

b) Draw for allotment shall be held by KHB, tentatively during the month of April ‘2013.

c) The remaining cost of units shall be payable in 4 equal installment after allotment.

d) Tentative date of handing over of complete project shall be Dec’2013.

e) The unit rates indicated in the Brochure does not include the cost of covered car parking which will be allotted @ Rs. 2.0 Lac/Slot.

f) NEHWO members, shall be given priority during allotment, provided total no. applicants thru’ NEHWO is more than 50.

The Final List of Applicants for Silicon City project has been uploaded as per the priority list decided earlier and revised choices given by members.

The draw shall be held tomorrow at 2.30PM, R & D, auditorium, EOC Noida, based on this Final List. The name of those members, who have withdrawn, their application has been removed from the Final list.

 A meeting was held with KHB, Bengaluru on 17.12.2012, and a number of clarifications were received from them regarding cost of units 7 payment terms.  The KHB project brochure in English is uploaded for reference to our members.

Revision of choices as well as new application for KHB Projects, alongwith Advance Deposit & Registration fee, shall be obtained from members, between 21.12.2012 & 31.12.2012.

Amrapali Group now finally agreed, to offer 75 flats at Silicon City and some flats at Dream Valley, so that all applicants shall be allotted a flats either at Silicon City or Dream Valley.

A series of e-mails exchanged between NEHWO & Amrapali Group, have been provided for reference to our members, which is sufficient to explain the efforts made to persue Amrapali Group to offer units to NEHWO.

Amrapali Group has finally sent a letter dt.14.12.2012, providing details of Silicon City project, which is self explanatory.

About 3 flats in 1215 Sft.; 20 flats in 1360 Sft. and 10 Flats in 1530 Sft. category are available at Dream Valley in already approved portion, for allotment to Silicon City applicants.

It is clarified that flats offered under Annexure-I to Annexure-III or Dream Valley, will be offered separately as different categories during Draw, by placing the ‘SLIPS’ in different containers. Hence, the members will have the option of selecting flats from either of the Annexures or Dream Valley.

Accordingly, it has been thought appropriate to allow the members to modify their choices for SILICON CITY project again, mentioning the Project, Phase, Area & Type clearly, ONLINE.

The option to modify the choices at Silicon City project shall remain open between 14.12.2012 (Friday) & 19.12.2012.(Wednesday) till 2.00 PM. Those members, who are not interested to modify their choices online, their earlier choice submitted on the website, shall be considered during the Draw, giving priority to Phase-I.

Therefore, all applicants are requested to update their choice on the website , otherwise, the last choice available on the website as on 19.12.2012 at 2.00 PM, shall be considered as FINAL and shall be considered during Draw.

Commitment Money => Modify Silicon City choices.

The Draw of Lot for allotment of apartments for Silicon City shall be held on 20.12.2012 at 2.30 PM at Roon No 323 R & D, Building, EOC, NOIDA, taking into account priority of applicants decided earlier.

 All applicant members are cordially invited to witness the DRAW.

Those members, who are not in a position to attend the Draw, may authorize any other member, on their behalf, to witness the Draw.

A resolution regarding refund/retention of Commitment Money, was circulated among, Governing Council Members, for adoption. The following resolution has been adopted by Governing Council, which will form basis for retention/refund of Commitment Money for third party projects.

No amount should be deducted from the commitment money, in the following cases.

a) Withdrawal of commitment money before allotment of units.

b) Withdrawal of commitment money after allotment of units.

c) Unsuccessful applicants during the process of draw/ allotment.

d) Closed projects, i.e. where response of members was less than 5 alongwith commitment money.

e) Successful applicants at those projects, where total no. of allotted units is less than 20. Since it will not be feasible to take up supervision work during execution at those projects.

An amount of Rs. 5000/- to be retained from commitment money, for all those projects, where no. of allotted units are more than 20. (Viz. Dream Valley, NOIDA.)

• The commitment money of the applicants may be returned directly to their bank account or may be paid directly to the developer on their behalf, based upon consent given by them.

• The above procedure may also be followed in case of other “third party projects including housing boards & development authorities”, in future. However, the President & the General Secretary, will be authorized to take a final decision on this matter, on project-to-project basis.

• Further course of action for NEHWO shall be discussed in the Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on 05.01.2013 at PMI Auditorium, NOIDA.

Accordingly, the Commitment Money of the members, except the allottees of Dream Valley; Silicon City & Amrapali Jagannath, will be returned without any deduction & interest, by end of this month.

The Commitment Money of those allottees of Dream Valley, who have accepted their allotment, will be paid after deduction Rs. 5000/- .

Accordingly, Rs. 45,000/- will be paid to the developer on allottee’s behalf or transferred to member’s account, by end of this month.

We have received a letter dt.11.12.2012 from Karnataka Housing Board, which is self explanatory. From the letter the following may be observed.

1. They have proposed to offer units to our members at two projects.

2. The offered rates have now been increased between 3650-3725/Sft from earlier offered rate of Rs.3200/Sft.

3. A new project in same locality has also been offered @ Rs.3100-3200/Sft

4. They have asked confirmation from our end to reserve units for our members.

Accordingly, the members, who have already deposited Commitment money, are requested to confirm their booking by submitting online confirmation alongwith choices.

NTPC, HR team (Scope) is still in the process of approving HBA for Dream Valley project.

General Body Meeting (GBM) of NEHWO is scheduled to be held on 05.01.2013 at 2.30 PM, PMI Auditorium, NOIDA. All members are requested to attend the GBM of NEHWO.

Amrapali Group has sent Allotment letter, Demand letter and/or Flat Buyer Agreement (FBA), directly to some of the allottees by e-mail/post.

The following are some of the quarries in these documents, received from the developer

a) The letters were unsigned.

b) “You are requested to remit the due amount on or before 30th November 2012 falling which your unit shall not be confirmed” has been incorporaed in the Allotment/Demand letter.

c) “The booking of flat shall be confirmed only after payment of 40% of flat cost to be made by allottee on or before 30th November 2012. In the absence of 40% payment the booking shall stand cancelled automatically” has be inserted in the Clause No. 17 of Flat Buyer Agreement.

d) Penal interest in the Demand letter was shown as 18% in place of 15% agreed.

e) The sketch of units (Annexure–B of FBA) contains different types of areas for the same unit.

f) Payment schedule (Annexure–A of FBA), installment no.1 i.e. 30% amount to be paid on or before 30.11.2012.

g) The allottees of Annexure – II, also getting demand letter to pay 30% by 30.11.2012.

The above points were becoming too stringent and impractical to implement. Hence these issues were taken up by NEHWO with Amrapali Group and the following hav been discussed & agreed.

1. The sentence “you are requested to remit the due amount on or before 30th November 2012 falling which your unit shall not be confirmed” in the Allotment letter shall be replaced as follows.

You will be required to remit the due amount within 30 days from the date allotment letter

2. The sentence “you are requested to remit the due amount on or before 30th November 2012 falling which your unit shall not be confirmed” in the Demand letter shall be replaced as follows.

You will be required to remit the total amount payable within 30 days from the date allotment letter otherwise the allotment shall be cancelled and the amount paid by you till that date, will be refunded without any interest”.

3. The sentence “the booking of flat shall be confirmed only after payment of 40% of flat cost to be made by allottee on or before 30th November 2012. In the absence of 40% payment the booking shall stand cancelled automatically” in Clause 17 of Flat Buyer Agreement will be dropped.

4. The sketches of units (Annexure – B of FBA) will be showing only the super area of the respective unit.

5. Fresh Allotment letter/Demand letter & Flat Buyer Agreement will be issued duly signed by Amrapali Group and forwarded to every allottee by post, before 30.11.2012.

6. Payment schedule (Annexure-A) of Flat Buyer Agreement shall be modified as per the sample linked:

a) For Annexure – I, allottees

b) For Annexure – II, allotttees

7. Amrapali Group will be free to cancel the unit and refund the paid amount without any interest , if the total installment-1 is not paid within 30 days of allotment letter. .

8. The Allotment letters/Demand letters/Flat Buyer Agreement already sent to the allottees through e-mail/post shall be treated as Withdrawn/ Cancelled and fresh set of documents will be sent to them by Amrapali Group thru’ post duly signed.

9. Those allottees, who have not deposited 10% booking amount till date, will also be given an option to deposit shortfall in booking amount/full booking amount, alongwith application form, directly in the office of Amrapali Group, latest till 25.11.2012 otherwise their allotment shall be treated as “Cancelled”.

10. The allotment letter of those allottees, who have made “MINOR” as joint applicant/ Co-applicant in the application form, will be issued in the name of FIRST APPLICANT only, ignoring the Co-applican, at this stage. Later on the Co-applicants name may be substituted with any other “MAJOR” person.

The above modification in the terms & conditions as well as documents, should provide much relief to the allottees, however, they are advised to pay “Due amount” to Amrapali Group on or before 30.11.2012, from their own sources, to avoid interest on delayed payments.

A Sample Scanned Copy of Allotment letter , Demand letter , Flat Buyer Agreement ,Annexure-C (Specifications) duly vetted by NEHWO, has been uploaded for reference to our members.

Upon receiving the signed documents from Amrapali Group, the allottees will be having all the documents in their hand, for obtaining Housing loan, from any of the banks of their choice.

For example,

1. The documents required from Amrapali Group, about the project, will not be asked by the FIVE Banks, who have already approved this project, from the applicants. If these document are required for NTPC-HR or any other bank, then the same can be downloaded from this website (refer Message Board dt. 12.11.2012).

2. All documents related to allotment of units, will be provided to them by Amrapali Group, thru’ speed post/courier, before 30.11.2012.

3. Tripartite agreement required by NTPC/Banks, will have to be signed before disbursement of the loan. Please co-ordinate with your bank & Amrapali Group for completing this formalities on case-to-case basis.

4. The Banks representatives will also be contacting the allottees directly, for facilitating housing loan.

By following the above procedure, we feel that taking Housing Loan & paying to Amrapali Group should become easily feasible before due date.

Members are advised to “Ignore” earlier letters/Flat Buyer Agreement, received from Amrapali Group & wait for fresh set of documents from Amprapli group, which will be provided to the member before 30.112012 .

The Draw for allotment of units at Dream Valley Project was held on 03.11.2012, at R&D Auditorium, EOC, NOIDA in the presence of more than 200 members.

The Draw was conducted by Members themselves in a transperent manner, in the presence of Governing Council & RLMC Members.

All the applicants of Dream Valley project (Based upon updated list dated 01.11.2012) were allotted flats at this project except the following 2 applicants, who became  unsuccessful due to non-availability of their choices.

With the support of all the RLMC members & MRs, we have reached at a stage of concluding the allotment of NOIDA projects

Accordingly, the option to modify choices for NOIDA projects, based on the flat's list provided by Amrapali Group for Dream Valley, was provided to all the applicants 'online'.

Maximum number of applicants updated their choices till 31.10.2012.

NEHWO team has compiled the "Updated list of Applicants for the Draw, after taking into account the modified choices and earlier choices of those members, who could not update their choices online.

The allotment shall be done based upon this updated list and shall be done from both the Annexures, giving preference to Annexure-I, subject to availability of the choices of members.

The Draw shall be held on 03.11.2012 (Saturday). The venue has been shifted from PMI, NOIDA to R&D Auditorium, EOC, NOIDA.

Amrapali Group has not provided the flat details of Silicon City project till date. In view of reducing the further processing time, it has been decided to finalise the PRIORITY LIST of the applicants for the Silicon City project also through the Draw on the same day. Afterwards, the allotment to the members shall be done based upon this PRIORITY LIST, as soon as the flat details are made available by Amrapali Group. The allotment of Flats in Dream Valley, for the Silicon City Applicants, if opted for Dream Valley as Second/Third choice, shall also be done on the same day.

The Draw for the FIRST LOT applicants, i.e. who applied on or before 25.8.2012, shall start at 10 AM and draw for SECOND LOT applicants i.e. who applied after 25.8.2012 shall start at 2.30 PM The Draw for Silicon City Applicants, for deciding the Priority and allotment of Second Choice in Dream Valley, shall start at 4:00 PM.

All members are cordially invited to witness the draw. The draw shall be starting sharp at 10:00 AM, hence members are requested to be seated in the auditorium latest by 9:50 AM.

The banks shall also be collecting completed application forms for housing loan at Draw venue itself. Hence members interested to apply for home loan at the draw venue, should bring the following documents alongwith them.

1. 3 Photographs of both applicant & co-applicant.

2. ITR of last 3 years.

3. Copy of PAN Card.

4. Copy of Address proof.

5. Salary slip of last 3 months.

6. Cheque for processing fees.

7. Bank statement (Last 6 months)

8. NTPC ID card photocopy

However, the application for loan may be submitted at a later stage also.

The representatives of Amrapali Group shall also be present at the Draw venue to distribute application forms, among the allottees. Amrapali Group, shall also be collecting the completed application forms at Draw venue.

Hence members, interested to submit their application forms, at Draw venue itself, should bring the following documents along with them.

1. 2 Photographs each of applicant & co-applicant.

2. Copy of PAN Card.

3. Copy of Address proof.

4. Copy of NTPC ID Card.

5. Cheque for 10% of the tentative cost of allotted flat.

It is informed to our members that 10% + 30% (i.e.40%) payment in case of Annexure-I allotment & 10% in case Annexure-II allotment, has to be made to Amrapali Group within the month of November'2012 itself.

It is clarified for information to our members here that, in the month of August Amrapali Group had agreed to take payment towards second installment i.e. 30%, within 60 days from the date of allotment,  but now they have asked this payment within 30 days, on the following grounds:-

a) More than six months time has elapsed since they offered the project to NEHWO (i.e. 04.05.2012).

b) About 3 months time has elapsed from the date of final confirmation of rates by them (i.e. 06.08.2012)

c) More than 2 month time has already passed between the closing date of the scheme by NEHWO (i.e. 31.08.2012) and actual date of Draw (i.e. 03.11.2012)

d) Even more than 2 weeks have passed, from the date when they provided the flat details (i.e. 17.10.2012), in conducting the Draw & modification of choices, till 03.11.2012.

e) GNIDA is asking payment & penalizing the builders heavily, due to delay in payment of installments, towards the land cost. (Refer news article dt.31.10.2012)

f) GNIDA is asking them to bear the cost of additional compensation to the farmers, as per the directives of Hon'ble High Court, without passing on the burden upon the buyers.

g) A gap of about Rs.500-800/Sft, has created between the offered rates and current market rates, during the last 3 months i.e. after approval of Master Plan by NCRPB.

h) The construction work has been started at the site.

i) Banks have started distributing housing loan to the allottees.

Considering the modified payment terms for 2nd Installment by Amrapali Group, the members are advised to complete the documentation formalities with Amrapali Group as well as the Banks, as soon as possible, to avoid interest on delayed payments.

IMPORTANT: The following corrections are required to be done by NEHWO members, in the Application Form/ Builder-Buyer Agreement of Amrapali Group, to avoid any dispute later on :-

1. Clause 14) of Application Form, Please change percentage of variation in super area to +/-3%  from  +/-5%.

2. Clause 29) of Application Form, Please change payment percentage to 50% from 80% in case of transfer.

3. Correct the applicable interest rate on delayed payment of installments to 15% from 18%/24% as per their existing norms, wherever applicable either in the Application Form or in the Builder Buyer Agreement

It is informed to our members that after the approval of Master plan, by NCR Planning Board, the rates of flats at Greater Noida (West) (earlier known as Noida Extension) has appreciated very fast. The current prevailing rate is more than Rs.3000/Sft.

Amrapali Group was also showing reluctance to allot units to NEHWO members at old agreed rates. But upon continuous persuasion by the committee (RLMC/MRs), Amrapali Group has finally agreed, to offer flats at already agreed rates and in such a manner & quantity, that all applicant members at Dream Valley, shall be allotted a flat as per their FIRST choice.

Accordingly, Amrapali Group has sent another revised Letter dt. 22/10/2012, providing further details of Dream Valley project, which is self explanatory.

It is clarified that flats offered under Annexure-I & Annexure-II will be offered separately as different categories during Draw, by placing the �SLIPS� in different containers. Hence, the members will have the option of selecting either from Annexure-I flats or Annexure�II flats.

However, based upon our notice dated 19.10.2012, a number of requests have been received from the applicants, especially 2BHK category, to allow them to modify their choices. It becomes very difficult and time consuming, to obtain revised choices through e-mail and then incorporate them into the final list.

Accordingly, it has been discussed & decided to allow the members to modify their choices for NOIDA projects again, mentioning the location, area & type clearly.

The option to modify the choices at NOIDA projects shall remain open between 23.10.2012 (Tuesday) & 28.10.2012.(Sunday) Those members, who are not interested to modify their choices online, their earlier choice submitted on the website, shall be considered during the Draw.

Therefore, all applicants are requested to update their choice on the website , otherwise, the last choice available on the website as on 29.10.2012, shall be considered as FINAL and shall be considered during Draw.

Accordingly, the date of draw has been rescheduled for 03.11.2012 instead of 27.10.2012.

The Draw for the FIRST LOT applicants, i.e. who applied on or before 25.8.2012, shall start at 10 AM and draw for SECOND LOT applicants i.e. who applied after 25.8.2012 shall start at 2.30 PM.

The venue shall be remain as PMI Auditorium, Noida.

Those members, who are not in a position to attend the Draw, are required to authorize any other member, on their behalf, to witness the Draw.

Now, request for withdrawal, also need to be submitted online through the Website, on the same screen of modification of choices upto 28.10.2012. Request for withdrawal sent by e-mail or other means shall not be considered.

RLMC is also perusing Amrapali Group to provide details of Silicon City project, so that the Draw of Silicon City, is also held on 03.11.2012. alongwith Dream Valley Project.

The final list of applicants along with their corrected choices, for closed as well as selected projects, has been uploaded for reference to our members.

Now, no request, for inclusion in name and/or modification of choices shall be entertained by NEHWO team, for selected projects.

The list of applicants for the Housing Boards/Development Authorities has also been uploaded for reference to our members.

NEHWO team is persuing KHB & CHB for allotment of units, based upon our member's requirements.

Only 2 members had applied for GDA, Ghaziabad Scheme. Hence, this scheme was not pursued.

The Draw of Lot for allotment of apartments for Dream Valley shall be held on 27.10.2012 at 10:00 AM, PMI Auditorium, Noida.

The Draw for the FIRST LOT applicants, i.e. who applied on or before 25.8.2012, shall start at 10 AM and draw for SECOND LOT applicants i.e. who applied after 25.8.2012 shall start at 2.30 PM.

 All Members are cordially invited to witness the DRAW.

The following procedures shall be adopted to allot the flats thru' MANUAL DRAW :

    • The details of members applying for any particular scheme shall be compiled by NEHWO Team and individual SLIPS containing membership no., employee no., name of member and his/her three choices of unit, shall be created.
    •  A list of flats offered by the developer for the respective projects shall be obtained and SLIPS shall be prepared category of unit/area wise.
    • A no. of transparent containers shall be arranged for each category of unit as well as one large transparent container for applicants.
    • The SLIPS containing the details of applicants shall be placed in one container after announcing the names of the applicants.
    • SLIPS containing the details of flats shall be placed category wise in the respective containers.
    • The SLIPS containing the details of applicants shall be reshuffled again & again to randomize.
    • From the randomized SLIPS, individual SLIPS shall be drawn one by one which will decide the PRIORITY of applicants.
    • The first priority applicant shall be allowed to draw a SLIP corresponding to his/her first choice from the respective container and that particular flat shall be treated as allotted to him/her & this process shall be continued for each applicant.
    • In case the first choice of any applicant is not available then he/she will be allowed to draw a SLIP from second choice flat or third choice flat & so on.
    • If the applicant is not available during the draw then an independent person shall draw a SLIP for flat on his/her behalf.
    • If all the choices of any particular applicant are finished then he/she shall be declared as unsuccessful.
    • The whole process of draw shall be video graphed and the list of successful applicants will be published on the draw venue as soon as it is compiled and the total result shall also be published on the NEHWO website as soon as possible.

The adjustment of Commitment Money in different cases was planned as follows:

a) Unsuccessful applicants :-The commitment money of those members, who submit their application with commitment money, but become unsuccessful in the draw of lots/allotment process, shall be returned to them without any interest within 30 days from the date of allotment of the respective scheme.

b) Withdrawal of application :-The commitment money of those members, who will seek withdrawal after submitting application, shall be forfeited by NEHWO.

c) Successful applicants :-

i) Third Party Schemes :- (viz. CGEWHO, IRWO, Housing Boards, Development Authorities, private developers etc.):- Those members who become successful in the draw of lots/allotment process, 50% of their commitment money shall be either adjusted towards the cost of their flat/dwelling unit or returned to them and the remaining 50% amount of commitment money shall be retained by NEHWO towards administrative/co-ordination/supervision charges for the particular project and the unutilized money at that project shall be returned equally to the allottees, at the end.

ii) NEHWO's Schemes :- The commitment money of the successful applicants shall be fully adjustable towards the cost of dwelling unit.

d) The retained portion of commitment money shall be utilized to meet the expenses of site visits by NEHWO Team and salary of Engineer/ Supervisor (full time/part time) for quality & progress monitoring. However, any surplus arising at the end, at any particular project, in this account, shall be distributed among the allottees, at that particular project.

However, the above clauses  were again deliberated during the 6th meeting of Governing Council held on 06.09.2012. After deliberations it was decided that present lot of projects, already launched by NEHWO, may be allotted to members and final outcome be analysed. The final decision for retaining/refund of commitment money shall be discussed in the next Governing Council Meeting. (Please refer MOM uploaded under Terms & conditions)

Hence it is clarified to the members that the amount, which may be deducted/retained from the commitment money, in the following cases, is yet to be decided. It shall be decided during the next meeting of Governing Council taking a lenient view in favour of members.

a) Withdrawal of application, before draw of lot/allotment

b) Withdrawal of application, after draw of lot/allotment

c) Successful applicants after allotment

The commitment money of the applicants for the CLOSED PROJECTS as well as KSHB/KHB-2/ KHB-3, is being returned gradually and the member should be get their refund by the end of this month.

We have received a letter dt.17.10.2012, from Amrapali Group intimating the list of flats for Dream Valley Project. They have offered 422 flats in the portion which is already approved as per the following break-up :

They have also expressed their willingness to offer another 332 units at higher floors (20th floor onwards), the drawings for which are under approval, with slightly modified payment terms. The break-up is as follows :

However, they shall be alloting only 605 flats to NEWHO at Dream Valley project out of 754 flats offered, which is equal to the total number of applications received against this project. Thus satisfying 100% applicants.

Any request for withdrawal of application from draw, may be submitted by e-mail, latest till 24.10.2012. Request received after 24.10.2012 shall not be considered.

Amrapali Group has not provided the flat details of Silicion City Project till date. Hence the draw of lot for Silicon City shall be conducted separately and the exact date shall be announced as soon as we get flat details from Amrapali Group.

Allotment of units at DLF, Bangalore, KUL Utsav, Pune, Silver Springs, Indore & A.V. Contructions, Hyderabad has been done based upon the consent received from the members.

The list of applicants for all the Private developer's projects, whose payment details have been reconciled, has been uploaded for information to our members.

The details of units as provided by applicants either through hard copy or by e-mail, has been incorporated in the above list. In case any member does not find his/her name in this list then he/she should write a mail to NEHWO Team along with a copy of application & payment details.

If any member finds that his/her choices are not according to him/her, then he/she should write a mail to NEHWO Team latest by 02.10.2012.

In case, no intimation is received till 02.10.2012, then this list shall be treated as final.

It may be observed from the details of applications that at a number of places, the no. of applicants are less than 20, which was kept as the minimum no. units, required for entering into an MOU with any private developer.

However, during the 6th Governing Council, it was decided that wherever we got 5 or more applications along with commitment money, then NEHWO may issue LOI to the private developers, provided the Developer as well as the applicants both agree for less number. The projects receiving less than 5 applications should be treated as turned down by members.

A summary of received applications is enclosed for reference

Accordingly, all the projects where less than 5 applications have been received shall be treated closed and the EMD of the developer as well as commitment money of the applicants shall be returned to the members.

However, at DLF, Hyderabad & Shipra, Zirakpur, the developers had put conditions for minimum booking, hence these projects have also being treated as closed, due to less response from members.

However, if any member desires to take a unit at these closed projects, then NEHWO shall co-ordinate with the developer and try to get a unit allotted to that member as per the agreed terms & conditions with NEHWO.

All those members, who wish to avail allotment at any of the closed projects, are required to write a mail (ntpcehwo@gmail.com) to NEHWO Team latest by 02.10.2012, expressing their desire for taking allotment on that particular project. In case no response is received from these members regarding this till 02.10.2012 then it shall be presumed that members are not interested to take allotment at any of the closed projects.

Due to increase in FAR, by NOIDA/G.NOIDA Authorities, from 2.75 to 3.50, almost all the developers in this area are revising their Master Plan and increasing the building heights. Amrapali group has also re-submitted their drawings for Dream Valley & Silicon City projects for re-approval. Due to this, they are not able to provide the flat details for conducting Draw of Lot. Till the time we receive flat list from them, draw can not be organized.

Also due to SHRADHA fortnight ahead, now it has been decided to conduct draw during Navratra period (tentatively on 20.10.2012), provided we receive Flat list from Amrapali group before that .

Collection of commitment money for all the locations except Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), Ghaziabad and Chattisgarh Housing Board (CHB), Raipur has been closed.

Commitment money collection for GDA, Ghaziabad shall remain open till 19.09.2012 and for CHB, Raipur shall remain open till 30.09.2012.

For the projects offered by Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB), we received only 20 applications along with commitment money hence entering into MOU with KSHB does not seem feasible. Hence the commitment money of all the applicants of the KSHB project shall be returned shortly.

For the projects offered by Karnataka Housing Board (KHB), we received 76 applications along with commitment money, out of this 60 applications have been received for Kengeri Satellite Project (KHB-1) for which we are planning to write a letter to KHB asking allotment of 60 units for our members. The commitment money of remaining 16 applicants shall be returned shortly.

It has been brought to our notice that Amrapali Group has altered their drawings for Bhubaneswar project, due to corrections made/advised by local authority, during the approval process, hence it is informed to all the applicants of Amp-Bhubaneswar that their choices shall again be obtained before draw of lot. Based upon the revised details to be received from Amrapali Group, commitment money may again be invited from members. However, the members who have applied before 15.09.2012 shall get first priority during allotment.

Compilation of data for the applicants is still in progress, the date of draw shall be announced shortly, once the compilation of data is complete.

We have received a letter Dt.11.09.2012 against reply to our letter dt. 07.09.2012, from GDA informing that the eligibility criteria for Madhuban-Bapudham Yojna has been modified as follows:-

"The applicant or his/her family (family means applicant, his wife/her husband & minor children) must not own any residential flat/plot in any colony developed by Ghaziabad Development Authority."

in place of clause 4.30 of brochure which was as follows:-.

"The applicant or his/her family (family means applicant, his wife/her husband & minor children) must not own any residential flat/plot in any colony developed by Development Authority, Housing Board, Improvement Trust, any Local Body, Cooperative Society within National Capital Region. He/she must also not hold more than one flat/plot developed by above said bodies in any other city/town of U.P."

After this modification, the persons owning houses/plots in Delhi/NCR shall become eligible to apply to this scheme provided they do not own any house/plot under any of the schemes of GDA.

Also there is no requirement of minimum number of units for Bulk allotment

We have received a letter dt. 04.09.2012 from GDA, intimating the extension of Madhuban-Bapudham Yojna scheme till 20.09.2012. A no. of requests has been received from our members through Feedback to obtain bulk booking from GDA.

Accordingly, it has been decided to invite commitment money @ 10,000/- along with 5% cost of units from the members so that bulk booking be asked from GDA. Members will be required to deposit 5% of unit cost along with 10,000/- as commitment money. Please follow the below link for depositing commitment money for GDA scheme.

Commitment money for GDA, Ghaziabad scheme can be deposited till 15.09.2012.

On Member's demand, the last date for depositing commitment money for the SECOND LOT, for under-subscribed projects/Category of Units only, is being extended till 15.09.2012.

It may please be noted that there will not be any further extension of date for the SECOND LOT. And the members should treat it as a last opportunity to obtain a booking against the projects offered under SECOND LOT.

However, the members depositing commitment money till today midnight (i.e. 05.09.2012), shall be given FIRST PRIORITY during Draw of lot for allotment, over the members applying during further extended period.

Due to delay in compilation of applicant's data, the draw of lot for allotment for FIRST LOT Locations, has been postponed, the new date & venue shall be informed shortly.

Due to recent bank strikes, many requests have been received from members, to extend the last date for depositing commitment money.

 Further, NCR Planning Board (NCRPB) has approved the Master Plan-2021 of Greater Noida yesterday. Please refer Newspaper reports of today for further information. Hence, it has been decided to provide another chance to those members, who have not applied against Noida/Greater Noida schemes till date, due to any reason.

It has also been thought appropriate to keep the options of FIRST LOT locations open, along with the locations offered in the SECOND LOT, so that members can do comparison within various available options.

It has been observed, from the analysis of submitted applications for commitment money, that some Projects/Category of units, have remained under-subscribed, which may again be offered to our members for booking.

Accordingly, the last date for depositing commitment money for the FIRST LOT (including KSHB & KHB), for under-subscribed projects/Category of Units only, is being extended till 31.08.2012.

It may please be noted that there will not be any further extension of date for the FIRST LOT. And the members should treat it as a last opportunity to obtain a booking against the projects offered under FIRST LOT.

The site visit of offered projects is in progress. RLMC/SLMC members as well as Member's Representatives (MRs) are requested to be present at the concerned location as per schedule intimated to them by NEHWO Team.

It is expected that all the site visits shall be completed by 30.06.2012 and initial selection of offers, for inviting Commitment Money (CM) shall be over by 14.07.2012.

Commitment Money  of  @50000/- is scheduled to be collected from members, location wise, between 15.07.2012 to 25.07.2012.

Based upon the response of members alongwith CM, final selection of offers shall be completed by 31.07.2012 and LOI/MOU shall be signed with developers.

Accordingly, members are advised to make provisions for depositing CM at their desired locations (@50000/- per location) between 15.07.2012 to 25.07.2012.

Negotiation meeting with KSHB, Kerala was held on 29.05.2012, we have received a confirmation letter from KSHB confirming substantial reduction in rates (i.e. upto 30%) compared to their earlier indicated rates. Further details about these locations is uploaded for reference to our members.

CM for KSHB projects @10000/- will be collected from members between 23.06.2012 to 30.06.2012 and based upon the response of members, MOU shall be signed with KSHB.

Now we feel that the projects offered by KSHB have become more attractive after reduction in rates and in comparision with the offers received from private developers. However, members are requested to make their own assesment for location & rate, before depositing commitment money.

Consent from members were invited for selection of Member's Representatives (MRs). Based upon the consent received from members, final list of MRs has been compiled & uploaded for reference to our members.

Total about 1400 no. of members participated in the consent process. The no. of consents received by respective nominees, is not been disclosed to avoid any conflict. Only the names of members who have been selected as MRs has been shown in the final list.

Now, these selected MRs are requested to contact NEHWO Team for scheduling the site visit of their preferred location. NEHWO Team shall be intimating the proposed schedule of site visits to respective MRs shortly.

Certain locations where, we have received less than 3 nominations, "Self Nomination" shall remain open till 25.05.2012 on first come first basis. All those locations where more than 3 "Self Nominations" have been received, 3 most popular MRs shall be selected, based upon the Consent given by those members who has first preference for that particular location. The option to modify "Preferences" has been closed. Based upon the demand received from non-member NTPC Employees, membership drive is proposed to be opened again in the month of June'2012.

RLMC shall start visiting the offered projects/locations from 28.05.2012 along with respective team of MRs. On 28.05.2012, offered projects at Kochi/Ernakulam shall be visited for shortlising & selection. Site visit of all the Delhi/NCR projects is scheduled on 1st & 2nd June'2012. The MRs already selected/to be selected for Delhi/NCR and Kochi/Ernakulam will be required to be present on these locations as per the above schedule.

The visit schedule of other offered locations shall be notified shortly.

NEHWO Team is pursuing WBHIDCO, Kolkata for taking over the possession of the land parcel, up-to-date status of this project shall be uploaded shortly on this website.

A meeting is scheduled to be held on 29.05.2012 with Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB) at Thiruvavanthapuram for negotiation of rates offered by them at Kochi/Thiruvavanthapuram. A final call on the offered projects of KSHB will be taken, based upon the outcome of this meeting.

For evaluation of offers received from private land owner(s)/developer(s), a Regional Land Management Committee (RLMC) has been constituted by the Governing Council in its meeting dt.25.11.2011. The RLMC comprises of representatives from Regions as well as Corporate Divisions. The details of RLMC Members are attached for reference to our members.

To assist RLMC, further State Land Management Committees (SLMC) have also been constituted, state wise at regional levels taking active members from various departments.

 SLMC is supposed to put up dedicated efforts in acquiring land from Govt./Development Authorities as well as private land owner(s)/developer(s) in their respective state.

 To further maintain transparency & effectiveness in evaluation of offers received from private developer(s) and negotiate the rates with them, it has been proposed to co-opt 3 Member's Representatives (MR) location wise, in the team. The selection of MR is proposed to be done as follows :

a) The prospective MR will have to nominate himself/herself as volunteer to participate in shortlisting & negotiation process of offers.

b) The prospective MR should have applied for that particular location as his/her first choice.

c) As & when needed, the prospective MR should be able to make himself/herself available, to the project location as well as NEHWO Regional Office.

d) As far as possible, the prospective MR should be posted nearer to that particular location.

e) In case any prospective MR has opted a different location as his/her first choice, then he/she will have to modify his/her preference so that the desired location for MR, becomes his first choice location.

f) Initially "Self Nomination" shall be invited from the prospective MRs, location wise

g) After receipt of nominations for any particular location, consent shall be obtained from all the members, who have given preferences for that location as first choice. After obtaining consent, 3 prospective MRs, who get max. no. of consent from the members, shall be selected as MRs for that location.

Self Nomination can be submitted latest by 17th May 2012 and the voting for selection of MR is scheduled to be conducted between 19th May 2012 to 25th May 2012.

Considering the fact that we have got offers for land/built-up space against only 28 locations out of 60 shortlisted locations and a number of representations, from members to modify their preferences submitted during demand survey, it has been decided to allow the members to modify their preferences.

The option to modify preferences shall remain open till 17th May 2012. Any member desirous to modify his/her preferences may follow the link Demand Survey => My Preferences => Modify your Preferences.

The preferences can be modified any number of times, before closing date.

We have received total 108 EOIs . A summary of offers received is enclosed for reference to our members.

As soon as any project/scheme is shortlisted and its rates are finalized, we shall start collecting commitment money from our members.

A letter was written to KSHB-Kerala on 13.04.2012 for reduction of their offered rates. We have received a letter from KSHB expressionery their intent to negotiable offered rates. NEHWO team shall be meeting them shortly for this purpose.

As intimated earlier, a meeting was held on 27.04.2012 with Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) for allotment of houses in Bangalore to our members. We got very positive response from KHB during the meeting and KHB was very keen to develop exclusive projects for our members. Based upon the discussions held during the meeting, KHB is in the process of finalizing their scheme exclusively for NEHWO members and we are hopeful to get written confirmation from them very shortly.

Date : 24.04.2012

Pre-bid Meeting for purchase of Land/Built-up Units was held on 20.04.2012, we got large participation from landowner(s)/developer(s). We hope to create a good potential of land/built-up units for our members.

The commitment money, for KSHB-Kerala project, was required to be submitted till 17.04.2012. Only 11 members have submitted commitment money of 10,000/- till 17.04.2012, which is not sufficient to enter into MOU with KSHB, at any location in Kerala.

Therefore, we have written a letter to KSHB on 13.04.2012 to re-consider the rates offered by them.

If any positive response is received from KSHB, then the rates shall be negotiated with them and again commitment money shall be invited from more members, before entering into any MOU with KSHB.

Till that time, the commitment money paid by 11 members, will be kept on hold and if we do not get positive response from KSHB till 10.05.2012, then the commitment money deposited by 11 members shall be returned to them on or before 17.05.2012.

 We had requested Karnataka Housing Board to allot about 1200 houses for our members. We have received a confirmation dt.17.04.2012 from KSHB to convene a meeting on 27.04.2012. NEHWO Team shall be attending this meeting and outcome will also be shared with our members.

1. During the firm response survey for KSHB-Kerala, 90 members had participated but when commitment money was asked from them, then very few members have deposited commitment money till date.

2. It is to intimate our members that if we receive insufficient no. of response along with commitment money, then none of the locations can be considered for signing MOU with KSHB.

3. We are in the process of negotiating the rates with KSHB so that the rates can be reduced further. But for this purpose also we need a firm commitment from our members. Accordingly the last date of depositing the commitment money has extended till 17.04.2012.

4. From the analysis of the data received thru' commitment money received till date, it seems that Kochi-2 & Thiruvananthapuram-1 can only be considered for signing MOU with KSHB, provided, we receive commitment money from 55 persons for Kochi-2 & 42 persons for Thiruvananthapuram-1. Therefore, members are requested to inform their colleagues & friends also for applying along with commitment money, so that atleast these two schemes become a reality.

5. It is clarified here that the rates offered by KSHB are indicative only and also the upper limit. Through proper design & value engineering as well as negotiation with KSHB, we expect to bring down the cost of apartments to a reasonable level.

6. All Members are requested to encourage land owner(s)/developer(s), having presence at their desired location, to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) in the prescribed format, to the office of NEHWO so that we can create maximum potential for Land/Built-up Units at all shortlisted locations.

1. To assess the actual requirement of units in Kerala, a firm response has been collected from the prospective members. The summary of the responses received till date are as follows :

a) Total 90 members have participated in the response survey.

b) 62 members have given their preferences for Kochi-1 as one of their choices.

c) 72 members have given their preferences for Kochi-2 as one of their choices.

d) 63 members have given their preferences for Kochi-3 as one of their choices.

e) 33 members have given their preferences for Thiruvananthapuram-1 as one of their choices.

f) 34 members have given their preferences for Thiruvananthapuram-2 as one of their choices.

The response seems to be less than expected, compared to the participation in demand survey, in which about 500 members have given their preferences for these two locations in Kerala.

We understand that this reduction in response has happened due to availability of flats in higher bracket (i.e. 35 lacs and above) only.

2. Now we have received a firm offer from KSHB to enter into MOU, it has been decided to collect commitment money of 10,000/- from prospective members. The link has been activated as Commitment Money => KSHB- Kerala => My application. The members have been given the option to pay this commitment money either online or through SBI  Pay-in-slip. Please refer FAQ for further details.

3. Based upon the final outcome of commitment money, the locations shall be selected, wherein MOU can be signed with KSHB. It may please be noted that OPTION-1 given by KSHB, can be exercised by NEHWO, only in case of the total apartments constructed by KSHB, at any particular location, are purchased by NEHWO members, otherwise either that location shall not be considered for MOU or OPTION-2 offered by KSHB shall be adopted. It seems, from analysis of the Responses received till date, that we shall be able to enter into a MOU for any one location only at Kochi as well as Thiruvananthapuram.

4. Considering the scarcity of land in Kerala, there are very little chance of getting alternate land from Kerala State Govt. Hence members are advised to participate in this demand survey by depositing commitment money, so that maximum no. of locations offered by KSHB can be taken by NEHWO.

5. We intend to enter into a MOU with NBCC also for purchasing flats in their upcoming project but MOU route shall be adopted only in case we require more than 100 flats at Kochi-3. Therefore, the link for Kerala response shall remain open for Kochi-3 till 09.04.2012. If we get response from more than 100 members then we shall approach NBCC for entering into MOU.

6. The last date for depositing commitment money for KSHB project has been kept as 09.04.2012.

Based upon the discussions held on 09.03.2012 between RLMC, Southern Region &KSHB, a letter was written to KSHB by NEHWO on 14.03.2012.

In response to our letter dated: 14.03.2012. We have received a letter dated 26.03.2012 from KSHB which is self explanatory.

We intend to opt for OPTION-1, offered by KSHB, whereby we will be able to control the specifications, quality as well as design.

The members interested in any of the five locations offered by KSHB or NBCC, are requested to please submit their response latest by 31.03.2012, so that we can contact them while collecting commitment money.

The commitment money shall be collected from the members in the first week of April 2012, and thereafter a MOU shall be signed with KSHB, based upon firm commitment received from Members.

In case, less than 20 response (combination of all choices), is received for any location then that location shall not be considered for MOU.

A Committee comprising of representatives from Regional Land Management Committee (RLMC), Southern Region and State Land Management Committee (SLMC), Kerala visited Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi/Ernakulam to explore the possibility of a tie-up with Kerala State Housing Board(KSHB) as well as other Govt. Organisations between 9th & 11th March'2012. A meeting was also held with Chairman, KSHB to discuss various options available with them. We have got a positive response from KSHB for allotment of built-up houses for our members. The probable projects at these locations are outlined in the following paragraphs :

1. Kochi : KSHB had shown inclination to offer 2 projects exclusively to NEHWO Members at Kochi, which are marked on the attached Location Plan and the details are as follows :

a) Kochi-1

The plot of size 3136 sqmtr. is available with KSHB on Seaport Airport Road. This is a commercial land parcel upon which KSHB intends to construct about 10000 sqft. commercial & 80000 sqft. residential area, total about 60 flats may be constructed on this plot and the tentative sale price at this project shall be around 4200/sqft. of super area. The location of this plot is marked on the attached "Location Plan".

b) Kochi-2

The plot of size 2792 sqmtr. is available with KSHB at Thrikkara, Kakkanadu in the existing KSHB Colony. KSHB intends to construct about 75000 sqft. of built-up area on this plot in which about 55 flats may be constructed and the tentative sale price at this project shall be around 4500/sqft. of super area. The location of this plot is marked on the attached "Location Plan".

2. Kochi-3.(NBCC)

About 3.18 acres of land is available with National Building Construction Corpn.Ltd.(NBCC) near Kochi Refineries at Ambalamedu. NBCC has a plan to construct 308 apartments of various sizes named as "valley view Apartments" at this location. If our members are interested at this location, we may approach NBCC to provide firm allotment to our members in one cluster. The tentative selling price at this location shall be around 3000/sqft. of super area. The location of this plot is marked on the attached "Location Plan". 3. Thiruvananthapuram : KSHB has shown inclination to offer built-up houses at 2 locations at Thiruvananthapuram, which are marked upon the attached "Location Plan".

a) Thiruvananthapuram-1

The plot of size 2226 sqmtr. is available with KSHB at Ambala Nagar. KSHB intends to construct about 42 flats on this plot and the tentative sale price at this project shall be around 4500/sqft. of super area. The location of this plot is marked on the attached "Location Plan".

b) Thiruvananthapuram-2

The plot of around 7 acres is available with KSHB at Aakulam, near to Air Force Station. KSHB intends to construct group housing on 2 acres plot on this location and the tentative sale price at this project shall be around 3500/sqft. of super area. The location of this plot is marked on the attached "Location Plan".

Before signing any MOU with either KSHB or NBCC, a firm commitment alongwith commitment money ( between 5000 to 15000) shall be required to be collected from our members, interested in purchasing flat at any or all of the above 5 locations.

The response can be submitted latest by 23rd March'2012. The NEHWO Team shall also be informing all those NEHWO Members who had given Thiruvananthapuram/Kochi/Ernakulam as any of their choices during the Demand Survey by e-mail/SMS.

If less than 20 response is received for any of the above 5 locations then MOU route may not be adopted for that particular location.

4. Kowdiar Heights, Thiruvananthapuram

 KSHB has launched a residential scheme named as "Kowdiar Heights" at Pandit's Colony, Thiruvananthapuram. This scheme is open to all on first come first serve basis till 31st March'2012. A Letter has been received from KSHB intimating about the scheme where 19 flats are remaining to be allotted. The Brochure is uploaded for reference to all members. The applications for this project may be submitted directly to KSHB with an intimation to us. "Location Plan" of this site is also uploaded for reference to our members. It is clarified here that those members who apply directly to the ongoing scheme (Kowdiar heights) of KSHB shall not loose the eligibility for allotment from NEHWO.

1. The draw for allotment of houses at Sector-29, Naya Raipur housing scheme of Chattisgarh Housing Board has been conducted on 16th & 17th Feb.'2012. The list of applicants , who have been allotted houses in different categories, is uploaded for reference to our members. CGHB shall be re-opening the scheme again to offer unallotted/unsold units in the current allotment process. As soon as we get any information, we shall publish on this website.

2. As informed earlier, the total cost of land for the Kolkata project was paid on 12.12.2011 to WBHIDCO. However, the physical possession of land is yet to be obtained from WBHIDCO. ER-I team is pursuing WBHIDCO vigorously to obtain physical possession at site as early as possible.

1. The re-conciliation of data collected from Demand Survey has been done and the final consolidated summary as well as shortlisted locations have been uploaded under head Demand Survey. Any member can view the report after "Member Login"

2. Now the preferences of all 16367 members have been obtained. (Note : The preferences of those members who had not submitted their choices, have been filled by NEHWO Team). All members can view their preference details after Member Login and following the link ?Demand Survey => My Preferences?.

It was announced on 07.12.2011 that if any shortlisted location gets less than 50 preferences as 1st choice or less than 100 preferences as combination of all 3 choices, then it will not be treated as shortlisted location, while purchasing land/built-up space. Accordingly, Berhampur(WB), Singrauli(MP) and Reva(MP) have been dropped from the list of shortlisted locations as these locations do not fulfill the requirements for shortlisting.

4. A no. of requests had been received from members to get NEHWO Projects approved from NTPC for House Building Advance(HBA). It gives us pleasure to announce that NTPC has approved NEHWO Projects for sanction of HBA vide letter dt.01.02.2012.

A letter was submitted by NEHWO to the Commissioner, Chattisgarh Housing Board (CGHB) on 01.02.2012 indicating the list of applicants for Sector-29, Naya Raipur scheme.

In response to the same, we have received a letter from CGHB indicating the probable no. of vacancies in the current scheme at Sector-29, Naya Raipur. As intimated by CGHB, they will try to allot houses/flats to NTPC Employees at one place and the unsold houses/apartments are likely to be launched by them by end of this month.

Therefore, it is again requested that those NEHWO Members, who have not forwarded the details of their submitted application form to the office of NEHWO, till date, to send the details to us, so that we can request CGHB to include their names also while cluster allotment.

The projects at Jaipur (Location Plan ), Kolkata (Location Plan ) & Mohali (Location Plan ) offered by CGEWHO has been visited by NEHWO Team and it has been found that the projects are well located. However, the members are advised to make their own assessment about location & price before applying to these schemes, based upon their requirements. CGEWHO vide their letter Dated: 30.01.2012, have intimated a special payment plan for NTPC employees, other terms & conditions shall remain as per their website.

Since the projects have now been offered by CGEWHO to Govt. as well as general public, the modality of collecting commitment money from Members & signing MOU with CGEWHO has been eliminated. The members can now directly apply to the schemes based upon the details provided on the website of Central Govt. Employees Housing Welfare Organisation at www.cgewho.nic.in => Housing Scheme Open For Subscription. It is clarified here that those members who apply directly to ongoing scheme of CGEWHO shall not loose their eligibility for allotment from NEHWO.

2. The projects offered by IRWO at Sonepat & Zirakpur have also been visited by NEHWO Team and their locations found to be good.

2. Intimation about Raipur scheme of Chattisgarh Grih Nirman Mandal (CGNM) has been sent to all the members, who had given their preferences for Raipur, by e-mail. Telephonic information has also been given to max. no. of members. It is clarified here that those members, who apply directly to the ongoing scheme of CGNM, shall not loose their eligibility for allotment from NEHWO either at Raipur or any other location.

The members, who have already applied/shall be applying till 23.01.2012, are requested to send a copy of their submitted application form thru? fax/e-mail to us, so that we can compile a list of applicants & submit to the office of CGNM latest by 27.01.2012 for seeking priority/cluster allotment.

3. Indian Railway Welfare Organization (IRWO) has offered certain available flats at their ongoing scheme of Zirakpur (near Chandigarh)  & Sonepat vide their letter dt.10.01.2012. The Location Plan  & e-brochure  of IRWO for Zirakpur has been uploaded for reference to our members. This Zirakpur scheme is open till 10.02.2012. The Location Plan  & e-brochure  of IRWO for Sonepat  has also been uploaded for reference to our members. This Sonepat scheme is open till 16.02.2012. The interested members may directly apply to the scheme before due date and sent us a scanned copy of their submitted application for our reference. It is clarified here that those members, who apply directly to ongoing scheme of IRWO shall not loose their eligibility for allotment from NEHWO either at Chandigarh or any other location.

4. The projects at Jaipur, Kolkata & Mohali, offered by CGWHO vide their letter Dt. 29.12.2011, are being evaluated by NEHWO team. Upon finalization of terms of allotment with CGEWHO, a token amount varying between 5000 to 15000 shall be collected as commitment money from interested members before signing MOU with CGEWHO. The details about the commitment money shall be uploaded shortly on this website.

5. The list of applicants, who had submitted advance application money for the Kolkata Project and whose payments have been reconciled, will be published on this website on 23.01.2012 under the head cation Money => Kolkata=> List of Applicants? and any member can view the list after "Member Login".

1. Demand Survey has been closed and we are analyzing the data. After analysis a detailed report shall be posted on the website. Any member can view the report after "Member Login" under head "Demand Survey".

2. NEHWO Team has completed the preference of all the remaining members, who had not submitted their preferences by due date, based upon the logic notified on 26.12.2011. Now all members can view their preferences & take a print out after "Member Login".

3. The details of applicants, who had submitted advance application money for Kolkata project is being compiled and the combined list of all eligible applicants shall be uploaded on this website shortly. Some of the applicants have not submitted the hard copy of application and SBI Pay-in-Slip, in the office of NEHWO, till date. They are requested to send the same as soon as possible to us, since re-conciliation is getting delayed .

4. Chattisgarh Grih Nirman Mandal (CGNM), has launched a scheme of independent houses as well as apartments in various categories at Naya Raipur. The last date of submission of application form is 23.01.2012.

We are also trying for bulk booking/cluster allotment for our members. RED(WR-II) has written a letter to the Commissioner, CGNM for allotting about 500 houses to our members in one cluster. We have received verbal assurance from CGNM in this regard.

The e-brochure and "Application form & price list" has been uploaded here for ready reference to our members. Members can download the application form from this website and submit to the office of CGNM after completing & enclosing the demand draft (s) of requisite amount. Members are also requested to forward a scanned copy for their submitted application form, to us so that we can include their name while seeking cluster allotment. NEHWO Team shall also be intimating, those members who have given their preferences for Raipur, by e-mail/telephone/sms separately.

5. We are also associating with CGEWHO for allotment of apartments to our members. The locations available with CGEHWO at present are Jaipur, Kolkata & Mohali. Once the terms & conditions are settled with them, the details will be published on this website.

6. All members are advised to keep visiting this website on regular basis (Atleast once in a week) for latest updates.

1. It has been observed that some members have still not submitted their preferences even after extention of due date twice. Now it has been decided to give a FINAL CHANCE to the members for submitting their preferences. Accordingly,  the last date of demand survey has been extended till 31.12.2011 and the option to modify the preferences shall also remain available to members. Those members who have already submitted their preferences may also modify their preferences of unit type & budget, location wise. Those members who have not submitted their preferences till date are again requested to submit their preferences latest by 31.12.2011.

In case preference from some of the  NEHWO members is not received by 31/12/2011, then it will be presumed that they are not intrested in taking prefrential allotment at any of the shortlisted location. And after the closing date i.e. 31/12/2011,  NEHWO team shall fill the  choices of the remaining members based upon the following logic:-

a.) First Choice - the city or town nearest to the current place of posting .

b.) Second Choice - the city or town nearest to the native place.

c.) Third Choice -   the city or town nearer to the current place of posting [Excluding a), if applicable within 50km distance] .

Budget will be considerd as Rs 25 to 35 lakhs for all locations.

Unit type shall be considerd as 2BHK+S for all locations.

Consent shall be treted as "YES" for purchasing land from pvt. land owner(s)/developer(s) .

NEHWO team shall not entertain any claim from the members for mismatch of their choices from those filled by NEHWO team.

Total land requirment shall be ascertained after obtaining/completing the choices of all the members.

1. On members demand, the last date of demand survey has been extended till 25.12.2011 and the option to modify the preferences shall also remain available to members. Those members who have already submitted their preferences may also modify their preferences of unit type & budget, location wise. 2. The land cost for Kolkata project has been paid to WBHIDCO Ltd on 12.12.2011. We are hopeful to get the possession of land very soon.

1. We have received a number of representations from members, who have already filled their preferences on NEHWO website, to allow modification of their preferences. Accordingly, it has been decided to allow the members to update their preferences till closing date i.e. 15.12.2011. To update the preferences please login as Member and follow the link My Preferences => submit your preference online => update. Any member will be required to modify his/her preferences or submit fresh preferences, considering the following points:-

A. Due to availability of too many choices at very close distances, it has been decided to re-group some of the locations in the following manner, so that the members can exercise their options in wider area :

   ? Noida/Greater Noida/Ghaziabad

   ? Gurgaon/Faridabad

   ? Bhubneshwar/Cuttack

   ? Hyderabad/Secunderabad/ Kukattpalli/ Rangareddy

   ? Ernakulam/Kochi

B. Based upon request of too many members to include 'Guwahati' also under shortlisted category, the same has been taken under dropdown list of ER-II/ Assam.

C. To collect more accurate data for unit type & budget, it has been decided to collect the choices of Unit type & Budget, location wise.

D. The preference screen has been modified to collect the data for unit & budget, location wise. The choices of those members, who have already submitted their preferences, have been modified by NEHWO team, to incorporate the above changes. However, the members are requested to further modify their preferences following the procedure explained above.

E. If any shortlisted location (including Guwahati) gets less than 50 preferences as 1st choice or less than 100 preferences as combination of all 3 choices, then it will not be treated as shortlisted location, while purchasing land/built-up space.

2. A proposal to consider preferential allotment to the members, at any particular location which falls among any of their 3 choices, is under consideration by the governing Council of NEHWO. Which is due to be finalised during the next meeting of Governing Council.

3. All the members who have not filled their preferences till date are once again requested to submit their preferences latest by 15.12.2011. If any member is not able to login due to the password or any other issue, then he/she may submit his/her preferences thru? feedback/e-mail mentioning the reason. Preferences submitted after 15.12.2011, either thru? website or e-mail/feedback shall not be considered.

4. Those members who do not fill their preferences latest by 15.12.2011, may not be considered for preferential allotment, at any location.

5. If any member has forgotten his/her password and is not able to receive password through e-mail then he/she is required to send a message through FEEDBACK for resetting of password.The password will be reset to original password i.e. Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format by NEHWO team within 24 hours of receipt of request. Member can login after that using his/her original password.

1. The collection of advance application money for Kolkata project has been closed. More than 500 members have applied alongwith advance application money. The list of applicants shall be published on this website after reconciliation of their payment details.

2. Huge response has been received from the members in the Demand Survey, but still there are some members who have not submitted their   preferences till date. Since submission of the preferences is compulsory for all the members, hence, the last date of submission of preferences has been extended till 15.12.2011.

3. All the members who have not filled their preferences till date are once again requested to submit their preferences latest by 15.12.2011. If any member is not able to login due to the password or any other issue, then he/she may submit his/her preferences thru? feedback/e-mail mentioning the reason. Preferences submitted after 15.12.2011, either thru? website or e-mail/feedback shall not be considered.

4. It has been observed that members are not updating their personal details (like address, mobile no., e-mail Id, nominee etc.) after 'Member login'. The details are required to be kept updated always, to receive any communication from NEHWO promptly. All the members who have not updated their personal details are requested to do the same by following the link 'My profile -> update personal details' after 'Member login' .

5. Many members are complaining about non-receipt of their passwords thru' e-mail. This might be happening due to incorrect e-mail Id available in the system against membership no. Once the correct personal details are filled such type of problem should not arise in future. However, NEHWO team is continuously helping the members in retrieving their passwords to the extent possible.

6. While analyzing the data of preferences received from the members till date, it is observed that more than 95% members are in favour of purchase of land/built-up space from private land owner(s)/developer(s), in case it is not made available to NEHWO by Govt./Development authorities. Accordingly, we shall be putting an advertisement in the newspapers for purchase of land/built-up space shortly.

  1. It has been brought to our notice that some applicants of Kolkata Project, whose salary account is not with State Bank of India, are facing difficulty in depositing "Advance Application Money".  Taking into consideration this issue, it has been decided to allow applicants to deposit the Advance Application Money directly to "NEHWO-Kolkata" account with State Bank of India (A/c no.31980180473, branch code-09996, IFSC code-SBIN0009996) either thru' cheque or RTGS/NEFT.

After depositing the money into the above account of NEHWO, the member can submit the Advance Application Money deposit form after filling the cheque no./RTGS no. in place of Journal No.  Other details of payment can be filled in the hard copy before submission.

They will be required to submit the following additional documents in the office of NEHWO for reconciliation (as applicable):-

  1. Copy of chque/DD
  2. Copy of pay-in-slip of the SBI branch where cheque is deposited (NEHWO-SBI pay-in-slip not necessary)
  3. Copy of bank statement showing debit of amount from the applicant's account. (Note : Under this case, the applicant will be required to transfer the money from his own account only.)
  4. Hard copy of Advance Application Money Deposit Form incorporating any charge due to the above.
  5. Some members have requested to add Guwahati, also in the list of preferences for location.  We would like to highlight that only 36 persons have opted for Guwahati as their first choice, hence this location was not considered as shortlisted.

However, if some members (more than 100) feel that Guwahati should also be included, then they are requested to send their preference for Guwahati thru' "Feedback".
 They should send message as follows:

"I have filled <Location> as my choice no.1/2/3.  However, I would request that my choice no.1/2/3, to be considered as Guwahati in place of <Submitted location at that choice>”.

If feedback is received from more than 50 members for Guwahati as their first choice and more than 100 members prefer 'Guwahati' under any of their preferences then, Guwahati shall be considered as shortlisted location.

The same process may also be adopted for any other location within India.

  1. It is again requested to all the members, who have not filled their preferences for location till date, to submit their preferences online, as they may get preference in allotment at their preferred location.

1.     Membership drive was again opened from 12th to 22nd Oct.'2011 and all the applicants whose payment details were reconciled have been allotted membership number. Members can check their membership status under "Membership" or "Member Login".

3.    Membership drive will be opened on 7th November (i.e. Raising Day of NTPC) every year for all the interested employees who could not apply in earlier schemes and for the new employees.

 

4.     Earnest money deposit of ` 1.6 crore for kolkata project, has been paid to WBHIDCO in the month of Oct.'2011.  The remaining amount of ` 4.80 crores is required to be paid to WBHIDCO latest by 12.12.2011.  This amount will be paid by collecting advance application money from prospective applicants for Kolkata project.

 

5.    It was announced earlier that advance application money of ` 1 lac will be collected from the prospective applicants for Kolkata Project.  However, based on land cost and anticipated number of applicants the advance application money has been revised as follows :

            2 BHK                         -            `2 lacs

            3 BHK                          -           `2.5 lacs

            3 BHK + servant          -           `3 lacs

 

The prospective applicants will be required to submit their advance money deposit form along with advance application money indicated as above and applicable to their choices. Advance application money for kolkata project shall be collected from prospective members between 17.11.2011 to 30.11.2011.

6.      At the time of Inclination survey during the month of November'2010, the choices for location were kept unlimited, but based upon the choices received during the inclination survey, only 66 locations have been short listed where demands of units were found to be more than 50.  Now, it has been desired to again conduct a survey among the members for ascertaining actual demand of unit and type along with their budget, so that actual requirement of land can be calculated.  All the valid members are required to participate in this online survey between 15th to 30th Nov.'2011.

Out of 157 applicants in "mismatch list", about 106 applicants submitted their details in the prescribed registration form.? 2.      In addition to the applicants whose names were appearing in the "mismatch list", 152 applicants also submitted their details, who had paid membership fee in the month of April'2011, but could not submit the registration form online. After reconciliation of their payment, these 152 applicants have been allotted membership numbers.? The members, who have already applied/shall be applying till 23.01.2012, are requested to send a copy of their submitted application form thru? fax/e-mail to us, so that we can compile a list of applicants & submit to the office of CGNM latest by 27.01.2012 for seeking priority/cluster allotment.

3. Indian Railway Welfare Organization (IRWO) has offered certain available flats at their ongoing scheme of Zirakpur (near Chandigarh)  & Sonepat vide their letter dt.10.01.2012. The Location Plan  & e-brochure  of IRWO for Zirakpur has been uploaded for reference to our members. This Zirakpur scheme is open till 10.02.2012. The Location Plan  & e-brochure  of IRWO for Sonepat  has also been uploaded for reference to our members. This Sonepat scheme is open till 16.02.2012. The interested members may directly apply to the scheme before due date and sent us a scanned copy of their submitted application for our reference. It is clarified here that those members, who apply directly to ongoing scheme of IRWO shall not loose their eligibility for allotment from NEHWO either at Chandigarh or any other location.

4. The projects at Jaipur, Kolkata & Mohali, offered by CGWHO vide their letter Dt. 29.12.2011, are being evaluated by NEHWO team. Upon finalization of terms of allotment with CGEWHO, a token amount varying between 5000 to 15000 shall be collected as commitment money from interested members before signing MOU with CGEWHO. The details about the commitment money shall be uploaded shortly on this website.

1. Demand Survey has been closed and we are analyzing the data. After analysis a detailed report shall be posted on the website. Any member can view the report after "Member Login" under head "Demand Survey".

2. NEHWO Team has completed the preference of all the remaining members, who had not submitted their preferences by due date, based upon the logic notified on 26.12.2011. Now all members can view their preferences & take a print out after "Member Login".

3. The details of applicants, who had submitted advance application money for Kolkata project is being compiled and the combined list of all eligible applicants shall be uploaded on this website shortly. Some of the applicants have not submitted the hard copy of application and SBI Pay-in-Slip, in the office of NEHWO, till date. They are requested to send the same as soon as possible to us, since re-conciliation is getting delayed .

4. Chattisgarh Grih Nirman Mandal (CGNM), has launched a scheme of independent houses as well as apartments in various categories at Naya Raipur. The last date of submission of application form is 23.01.2012.

We are also trying for bulk booking/cluster allotment for our members. RED(WR-II) has written a letter to the Commissioner, CGNM for allotting about 500 houses to our members in one cluster. We have received verbal assurance from CGNM in this regard.

The e-brochure and "Application form & price list" has been uploaded here for ready reference to our members. Members can download the application form from this website and submit to the office of CGNM after completing & enclosing the demand draft (s) of requisite amount. For further details please refer www.cghb.gov.in.

Members are also requested to forward a scanned copy for their submitted application form, to us so that we can include their name while seeking cluster allotment. NEHWO Team shall also be intimating, those members who have given their preferences for Raipur, by e-mail/telephone/sms separately.

5. We are also associating with CGEWHO for allotment of apartments to our members. The locations available with CGEHWO at present are Jaipur, Kolkata & Mohali. Once the terms & conditions are settled with them, the details will be published on this website.

6. All members are advised to keep visiting this website on regular basis (Atleast once in a week) for latest updates.

1. It has been observed that some members have still not submitted their preferences even after extention of due date twice. Now it has been decided to give a FINAL CHANCE to the members for submitting their preferences. Accordingly,  the last date of demand survey has been extended till 31.12.2011 and the option to modify the preferences shall also remain available to members. Those members who have already submitted their preferences may also modify their preferences of unit type & budget, location wise. Those members who have not submitted their preferences till date are again requested to submit their preferences latest by 31.12.2011.

In case preference from some of the  NEHWO members is not received by 31/12/2011, then it will be presumed that they are not intrested in taking prefrential allotment at any of the shortlisted location. And after the closing date i.e. 31/12/2011,  NEHWO team shall fill the  choices of the remaining members based upon the following logic:-

a.) First Choice - the city or town nearest to the current place of posting .

b.) Second Choice - the city or town nearest to the native place.

c.) Third Choice -   the city or town nearer to the current place of posting [Excluding a), if applicable within 50km distance] .

Budget will be considerd as Rs 25 to 35 lakhs for all locations.

Unit type shall be considerd as 2BHK+S for all locations.

Consent shall be treted as "YES" for purchasing land from pvt. land owner(s)/developer(s) .

NEHWO team shall not entertain any claim from the members for mismatch of their choices from those filled by NEHWO team.

Total land requirment shall be ascertained after obtaining/completing the choices of all the members.

1. On members demand, the last date of demand survey has been extended till 25.12.2011 and the option to modify the preferences shall also remain available to members. Those members who have already submitted their preferences may also modify their preferences of unit type & budget, location wise. Those members who have not submitted their preferences till date are again requested to submit their preferences latest by 25.12.2011.In case preference from all the NEHWO members is not received, then land requirement cannot be ascertained accurately, and the members who do not submit their preferences, may also loose the opportunity to get preferential allotment at the location of their choice. 2. The land cost for Kolkata project has been paid to WBHIDCO Ltd on 12.12.2011. We are hopeful to get the possession of land very soon.

1. We have received a number of representations from members, who have already filled their preferences on NEHWO website, to allow modification of their preferences. Accordingly, it has been decided to allow the members to update their preferences till closing date i.e. 15.12.2011. To update the preferences please login as Member and follow the link My Preferences => submit your preference online => update. Any member will be required to modify his/her preferences or submit fresh preferences, considering the following points:-
